WWO- World Weavers Organization - USA Regional Conference 2026 Concludes with Outstanding Success in New Jersey
Nearly 500 participants unite to strengthen the global network of weaver communities
The World Weavers Organization (WWO) successfully concluded its USA Regional Conference 2026 at Royal Albert’s Palace in Fords, New Jersey, bringing together nearly 500 participants from the United States, Canada, India, and other countries. The event strengthened WWO’s mission to unite weaver communities globally beyond caste, region, and language, while promoting education, entrepreneurship, women’s and youth leadership, cultural heritage, and economic empowerment.
The conference featured inspiring addresses from WWO leaders and distinguished guests, recognition of notable community contributors, the announcement of a new WWO Global Committee, the launch of the WWO Matrimony website, and the presentation of merit scholarships to outstanding students. Honours included the Global Achievement Award for Dr. Haranath Policherla, felicitations for Padma Shri awardee Dr. S. V. Rama Rao, Sri Kishore Ganji, and Smt. Parvathi Kautarapu, along with strong support from broader community leaders and partner organizations.
Participants used the gathering as a platform to build professional and business connections, exchange ideas, and discuss initiatives supporting weaver families worldwide. WWO thanked its guests, sponsors, organizers, volunteers, performers, and families for making the conference a historic success, reaffirming its commitment to preserving weaving traditions and building a strong, united global weaver community.
