A few like minded people across the world brainstormed and identified the need to have a world platform, network of weaving community – with people in India and other parts of the world. As you may already know that there are organizations individually within different states in India a few countries like USA, Canada, focusing on weavers, this organization primarily focuses on bringing the weaving world to a common single platform. Although these organizations act independently and doing the best to serve the community, the need for the common single platform exists and that’s how the birth of this organization took place. This will help us to connect better and address economic, educational, social, cultural, and other major challenges that the weaver’s world is facing, the world in general and India in particular. This led to the formation of nonprofit global organization, build and maintain a strong network of weaver’s community, to promote understanding and extend cooperation between the weavers and organizations.

This will also help in providing financial aid to philanthropic activities, empowering weavers and perform charitable activities related to the scope of our mission. To promote better communication among the WWO teams, members, and to organize events in co-ordination with local governments, organizations, country units as required, this will involve the participation of the WWO leadership teams across the world, members to fit into the weaver’s network activities.
